A series of oral histories focusing on North Norfolk’s history of flooding. This short docu-style film is a community’s call to action to raise the flood banks to protect the coastal region from future damage.

’The Race Against Time’ is a site-specific performance about climate change at RSPB Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk. Created by young adults as a result of a collaborative initiative between UEA and East Norfolk Sixth Form College.

First Light CIC — Short Films

Covering contemporary dance and music to storytelling and public art, I worked as a producer/director, alongside DoP Will Fielding, to create a variety of short form film content for the First Light Festival CIC between 2020 - 2021 — scroll to see our portfolio.

A highlight was the creation of a mini-series of films for First Light Festival’s virtual community celebration of the ‘Winter Solstice’ - during the time of lockdown. We worked as an extension of their team and in collaboration with their partners, set designer and network of local talent. Together we produced, storyboarded, directed, shot and edited each film to be both a reflection the vision of each artist and to be virtually experienced as an online arts event. We also had facilitated work experience for local young filmmakers and engaged with the wider community.
