ASSOCIATE PRODUCER: THE DOG THAT COULDN’T BARK
“The Dog That Couldn't Bark" is a short film, starring Dame Maureen Lipman. It was filmed at Glemham Hall in Suffolk, England - 2024. The film tells the story of an elderly woman, Rebecca, at the end of her life, who shares a childhood secret with her palliative care nurse, Angelica. The film explores themes of betrayal, secrecy, and the psychological impact of manipulation. Tassie, Rebecca's dog, who cannot bark, is a symbolic representation of Rebecca's refusal to express her pain.
The film written by Paul Rainbird, also features a soundtrack composed by Jack Northove, was directed by Henry Tomlinson with DoP as Steven Hall. For this project, I was Associate Producer and Script Supervisor.
